Former WSU Student Admission Requirements
Welcome Back!
We are pleased you are interested in returning to complete your degree at Washington State University Vancouver. As a student formerly enrolled at the University, we understand that your educational background may be different from those of other applicants. To help you make a decision on the best way to complete your degree, we have put together information about several options. Please note that submitting your application by the priority admissions application deadline for the semester which you wish to enroll is recommended.
If you were previously enrolled at Washington State University as a degree seeking student during a fall or spring semester, you are considered a former student returning (FSR). If you were absent just one semester, no further application is required. You can contact your former advisor to plan your next steps.
Select the option below that best fits your education situation:
- I am certified into a major and wish to continue in my major. Contact your previous major department to see what requirements you have remaining.
- I am not certified into the major I now wish to pursue.
- I am undecided about my major and I would like to speak to an admissions counselor.
Former students returning who have attended other institutions since last enrolled at Washington State University must submit an official transcript directly from each institution attended.
Former students returning whose previous academic record at Washington State University is unsatisfactory will be required to follow established academic reinstatement procedures prior to admission.
