Co-Admission with Lower Columbia College (LCC)
Complete a bachelor's degree in Southwest Washington.
Students interested in being pre-admitted to WSU Vancouver for a future term as well as being admitted for a current term at Clark or LCC should complete the co-admission application. Co-admission may be granted in two ways:
- Track A: Students with fewer than 60 quarter (40 semester) credits of transferable coursework may be co-admitted as a transfer student to WSU Vancouver while continuing studies at Clark College or Lower Columbia College.
- Track B: Students who meet WSU's freshman admission criteria can be granted co-admission at the beginning of their freshman year.
How Does Co-Admission Work?
- Co-admitted students receive advising from their community college (Clark or LCC) as well as WSU Vancouver advisors and faculty.
- Once a student successfully completes community college prerequisite courses
in a program of study with the required GPA, transfer will be guaranteed into
the specified program at WSU Vancouver assuming continuation of state resources.
Please note: Some departments have additional processes that applicants must successfully complete to be officially admitted. Prospective students should contact department advisors for clarification on program requirements for admission. - Requirements for a program of study will not change for eight* years once a student has been granted co-admission.
- Students may enroll in classes at WSU Vancouver while completing community
college coursework for an associate degree.
Please note: Some WSU Vancouver degree programs require junior standing (i.e. completion of 90 quarter transferable credits) and required prerequisites before enrollment in WSU classes. Some programs may also have schedules and start dates that do not follow the traditional university time frame for transfer students. Check with the WSU Vancouver Office of Admissions for details.
* Provided that external factors such as accreditation or certification requirements do not change.
