Clerical Assistant II

Job Description: Assist the Program Coordinator for Disability Services on the WSU Vancouver campus by performing the following duties, as directed:
Alternate print conversion of large documents. Read/scribe for tests. Note taker coordination to include: payroll paperwork, dealing with issues concerning note takers, coordinating note taker presentations, copying notes brought in by note takers. Track hours worked by sign language interpreters. Deliver tests to campus departments. Secure alternate texts and track progress using Excel. Input student schedules in Excel. Work with students to develop testing schedules. Develop e-mails to instructors regarding testing schedules. Other duties as assigned.

This is a temporary position – 10-20 hours per week beginning 12/01/2009 or ASAP. $11.00/hour

Job Requirements: Detail oriented individual with excellent customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Scheduling and database management experience. Microsoft Word and Excel experience required. Strong organizational skills. Student-centered attitude with ability to work with a wide range of people, including those with disabilities.
