Academic Coordinator
The College of Business at Washington State University is seeking qualified candidates for an administrative professional, permanent, 12-month, full-time position at the Vancouver, Washington campus.
Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three (3) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities of an Academic Coordinator position. Qualified candidates must have a demonstrated evidence of excellence in higher education academic advising. Demonstrated record in teamwork, writing/oral communication, interpersonal skills, decision-making and problem-solving skills are also required.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree in a related field. The successful candidate will also be expected to make service contributions by helping develop ties with the region’s community. We are especially interested in candidates who demonstrate knowledge and ability to work effectively with diverse student and community populations, and contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their service.
Term, Compensation and Support: The term of appointment is a full-time, twelve-month, permanent, 100% FTE, beginning on August 1, 2008.
Salary: $40,000-$47,000 annually.
