Visitors:
Welcome to Washington State University Vancouver!
Per Washington Administrative Code (WAC 504-19), parking regulations on campus are enforced 24 hours a day, every day. Payment for parking is required from 7 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday. After 7 PM, parking is free in most parking lots. Parking areas that are enforced 24 hours a day are fire zones, disability spaces, reserved parking areas, 30-minute metered parking, and no parking areas.
If you have not already been provided a permit (electronic or paper hang tag permit) prior to your arrival on campus, you have several options for short-term parking.
30 minutes of free parking at the user-activated meters are currently available to visitors for short-term use only in the loop in front of the Administration building (VADM) and the Classroom building (VCLS). To begin the 30-minute timer, please push the button or turn the knob on the meter and verify the timer reads a full 30-minutes before leaving your vehicle.
This area, as well as all fire, disability, and reserved parking areas/spaces is strictly enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
No permits of any type are allowed in this area.
For longer stays, you may purchase daily permits at the cafeteria (VADM) or the bookstore in the Student Services Center (VSSC) during their normal hours of operation.
All forms of daily/monthly permits are available for sale at the Cashier's desk (VSSC) and at the Dept. of Parking Services (located in the Public Safety office in the Physical Plant building).
Free parking is available in front of our building.
In addition, the Parking Services office has both semester and annual permits for sale.
The daily parking information at the bottom of this page details the current daily pay options and pricing, including the use of short-term pay meters and the Blue daily pay lot as an alternative to purchasing a day pass.
If you have questions regarding parking on the WSU Vancouver campus, please contact the Parking Services staff at the number or email listed below.
