DEPARTMENT OF PARKING SERVICES
VISITOR & SHORT TERM PARKING INFORMATION
Welcome to Washington State University Vancouver! Per Washington Administrative Code (WAC 504-19), parking regulations on campus are enforced 24 hours a day, every day. Payment for parking is required from 7 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday. After 7 PM, parking is free in most parking lots. Parking areas that are enforced 24 hours a day are fire zones, disability spaces, reserved parking areas, 30-minute metered parking, and no parking areas. If you have not already been provided a permit (electronic or paper hang tag permit) prior to your arrival on campus, you have several options for short-term parking. 30 minutes of free parking at the user-activated meters are currently available to visitors for short-term use only on the south side of the bus loop in front of the Administration building (VADM) and in the Orange 2 lot (next to VSSC). To begin the 30-minute timer, please push the button or turn the knob on the meter and verify the timer reads a full 30-minutes before leaving your vehicle. This area, as well as all fire, disability, and reserved parking areas/spaces is strictly enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No permits of any type are allowed in this area. If you have questions regarding parking on the WSU Vancouver campus, please contact the Parking Services staff at the number or email listed below. |
