  CITATIONS

Parking tickets are issued for violations of the Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 504-19 that governs parking on the Washington State University Vancouver campus. Everyone parking on campus is required to abide by these codes.

Ignorance of the code is not cause for the dismissal of any ticket. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to contact the Dept. of Parking Services within 24 hours to explore the possibility of reduction of fines and within the 10-day appeal window to explore possible warning or appeal options. All instructions and contact information are printed clearly on the back of each ticket, including our phone number and the physical, email, and web site addresses of this office. No appeals can or will be accepted by this office after the 10-day appeal window has ended.

Unpaid tickets will be submitted for collection after 45 days and an administrative fee will be added to the outstanding balance FOR EACH TICKET. Prior to 45 days, tickets may be paid in person at the Parking Services Office or by mailing the payment and ticket to Parking Services. After 45 days, payments must be made directly through the Department of Parking Services in the Physical Plant building. All appeals for citations must be made within 10 calendar days of the citation's issue date. After the 10 days, no appeals will be accepted and the citation automatically stands. All appeals must be submitted in writing via the WSU Vancouver Parking Appeals Form available at the Parking Services Office or online. No other appeals will be accepted.
