Data Collection
Please use one or both of the following forms to report on civic engagement efforts for the 2008-2009 academic year.
- Service Learning Report - Service Learning is a style of teaching in which course instruction is combined with meaningful community service and reflection. This report is for community service activities which are connected with a course assignment or requirement, such as DTC students' website development for community organizations or nursing students' hospital placements.
- Co-curricular Student Engagement Report - Co-curricular Student Engagement refers to activities in which time and talents are shared freely with the community. This report is for community service activities which are not connected with a course assignment or requirement, such as the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service event or the Alternative Spring Break service expedition.
Note: Data will be used for reporting and fundraising purposes, as well as to highlight civic engagement efforts on our Web site. Information concerning specific programs, activities, or community partners will not be released without prior approval.
