BIO Dr. Wu joined the faculty at Washington State University in the Fall of 2006, upon completing his doctorate in Management Information Systems from the Michael F. Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma. He grew up in a number of states in the U.S. but was born in Taipei, Taiwan. Since, moving to the U.S., he has called California, Texas, Kansas, Illinois, Massachusetts, and New York home, at one time or another. He received his B.S. in biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned his MBA in Finance at Boston University after transferring from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Dr. Wu's research focuses on project management practices, systems development innovations, and strategic/implementation issues concerning IT deployment within organizations. His research has appeared in outlets such as the International Journal of Management Theory and Practices, Information Systems and Change Management, and Computers in Human Behavior. He has held professional positions as an analyst and financial manager at Time Warner Corporation, Viacom Corporation, and Federated D.S. before entering the world of academics.
